First time I held Cooper
At 4:03 am on Sunday May 25th, 2014 my life completely changed! After 37 hours of labor the most amazing person I have ever met came into the world. Let me tell you he came in screaming and we all knew he was there! After being weighed (8lbs 11oz) and measured (20.5 inches long) I got the opportunity to hold him. I was always told that at the first sight of him I would be in love. I have to say they were right. I had been up for almost 30 hours and was not even tired. That did change.
After picking his Grand Parents up at the airport and taking them to the hospital to meet him they left a couple hours later to get some sleep. I wish I could say Therese and I got sleep that night. Here is a pic of what I looked like the morning of the 26th:

Little tired after being up all night
Luckily shortly after that picture was taken the Grand Parents returned and I was able to leave and get myself cleaned up.
I could not stay away long!

He has his days and nights mixed up
As you can see when I got back he was wiped out after being up all night. Must take after his dad!
We have spent plenty of time really getting to know each other. Here are some fun pictures:

I can sleep on Dad all day!

Hoping to go home soon!
Tomorrow we are hoping to go home. Fingers crossed. Which should be exciting as we introduce him and the three cats. I will post more on that later! Good night everyone!
